Mike Carlson

Mike Carlson is a Yank who’s been serving life without parole in Britain since before the Winter of Discontent. He started as sports editor with UPITN, worked for ABC Sports and Major League Baseball, and then began his downward path as a journalist and broadcaster. He’s currently NFL analyst for Channel 4 and BBC TV, and does other American football for Eurosport.

He’s broadcast everything from lacrosse on Sky to pro wrestling on ITV, and will handle play-by-play on basketball for the BBC during the 2012 Olympics. In May 2011 he broadcast for ITV Tanzania the Kilimanjaro Bowl, the first American football match ever staged in Africa.
